Mohan vs Addu

"Mohan was right in slapping addu or not??? " This was the ques we viewers faced in whole of the NBT season2.
But the reason I ended up here writing about this inspite of show being off air now  is the few comments I read on YT while watching an episode where Addu(grown up) calls Mohan on Indore station and blames Mohan for everything that happened with him in past 12years.
Few viewers of the show had a view that Mohan was wrong in slapping Addu after that school princi incident, and by doing so he proved that he was a step father. So all in all they totally agreed with what Addu thought about Mohan.
But is this really true that by just slapping a kid he has sealed the title "sautela" . For me the answer is absolutely NO.. A big NO... Why just that act of Mohan labelled him sautela, don't real parents slap for the wrong doings of their kids. Do you really think if Amar was in place of Mohan he would have handled the situation diffrently. 
Okay I agree that hitting a child won't make him understand anything but than not punishing is also not justified when the kid is misbehaving and doing mistakes repeatedly even on being told not to do. Why was Mohan slapping Addu was made such a big issue. Didn't Megha slap Addu later when she learns everything about him, why wasn't she labelled as 'sauteli maa' than.
Also how can one blame Mohan entirely for Addu getting kidnapped, it was just an unfortunate accident  that could have happened in Amar's or Megha's presence too. Just because Mohan was a step dad he was blamed for everything that happened with Addu.
Also Addu blamed Mohan for not listening to him when he called him or when he needed him the most. But what about Addu, wasn't he also responsible for Mohan ignoring his call? We have read a story in schools "sher aaya" , thats what happened there which created a misunderstanding between Mohan and Addu.
While watching the show I used to think how can creatives show such a dumb track of sautela jaap that has absolutely no relation to reality but reading comments, with people actually agreeing with Addu's thought process really make me ponder is our thinking that shallow. That a step parent is always wrong whether its their mistake or not we will just blame the step parent for anything wrong happening to the kid related. Coz for the first time I ever came across with such statement or thinking. Have seen Step mother n daughter relation in my extended family but it was no diffrent than the bond I share with my mother.

 "Chahe kitna bhi bura din beeta ho,lekin aapko ek baar muskurata hua dekh lun toh sab bhool jata hun aur jab jab aap dukhi hoti hain, udaas hoti hain tab apna kuch yaad hi nhahin rehta mujhe"

Lines once said by Mohan for Megha. But now we are saying the same lines for Kunal.

After 12/09 not a single day has passed without missing Mohan Bhatnagar or Kunal. Watching NBT or I should say Kunal (at least for me esp. in ssn2) used to be the best and the de-stressing part of the day. However bad day was or however big the problem was those 20mins ( few mins in ssn2) used to be the best,  making you forget the every tension and everything and drifting you to a different dream world. It was the power of Kunal's acting, that his character made us forget everything damn thing. It was all a beautiful dream world for time being.

Even today after being deprived of seeing him on-screen for 60 days, just a thought of that charming smile takes you to a different world or even a thing as small as someone saying "areyyyy yaar" or "sunnna" takes you back to that dream world. Every damn thing around reminds us of either Mohan or Kunal, in some way or the other. But thats the Charm of Kunal, that crossing  our mind even for a millisecond and our face brightens up with biggest smile ever.. Not everyone can make you smile that way, even in their absence. 

Misisng those golden days when witnessing such scenario was a daily thing.

Its not only his character that was blessed with the gift to bring smiles, but even a thought of KUNAL's smile will leave you smiling like an idiot.

Previously we use to wait for the clock to strike 9:30 to watch our hero and now we are waiting endlessly without feeling tired on FB/Twitter for his one update. And as soon as KUNAL KARAN KAPOOR flashes in our news feed our only reaction is a sigh of relief ( ki chalo Eid ka Chand dikha toh sahi ;) ) followed by a big smile. 

Kunal is a magician who has charmed everyone by his husky voice, cutese smile, expressive eyes...... well thats a never ending list. And the magic is so strong that we are spell bound by him even in his absence. 

Every thing Makes me miss you even more

Every little thing reminds of him Ferrero Rocher chocolate or Bhindi or Rajma ;  Pulsar or Royal Enfield ; A wink, whistle, flying kiss, stumbling over open shoe laces or pouting and sucking cheeks in ; Be it Goa or Indore; Adele or Kishore da ; EDM or old classics ; Steven Speilberg or SRK ; someone smiling with a titled face or having a hearty laugh....... etc.. the list will go on its never gonna end.

And all we can do to try to miss him less is, watching NBT over and over again or watching his old shows or making siggies of his or his scenes or some silly edits like these or VMs or writing blogs.. Everyone is trying in their own way to overcome the feeling of missing him, but in all this what we forget is, by all this we are going deep in Kunal Mania.. And one can never ever recover from Kunal Mania and am sure no one even does not want to recover from it.

Beacuase its the one thing, that brings our smile  no matter what..

Hope to see our Hero back on screen soon... This wait is getting tougher day by day.. How I wish, March would come soon after November or I just sleep now and when I wake up its already March or whatever day we are going to listen the news of his return..

Glimpse Of This Cute Smile Made Our Diwali Special

Today am reminded the answer of my  every 'Why???' question I had in mind, the answer to why Kunal Karan Kapoor deserved all of  this 'crazypan'  is, he makes his fans feel special by his sweet lil gestures.
He is not only the Best Actor who wins everyone's heart by his flawless performances on-screen but also he is an awesome person in real life too. A real Star who cares about his fans and makes them feel special in every possible way he can.
Its no new news that we are missing him terribly, so not only he makes sure to be in touch with us through his tweets or insta-shares, but he has surely made this Diwali really special for us by this sweetest and awesomest Diwali gift ever. This sweet and thoughtful gesture surely touched everyone's heart.
We have been dying to see him onscreen from last 1month n 20days but no one had even the slightest idea that he is gonna fulfill our wish in this unexpectedly surprising way.
There is always a simpler way to  send your wishes to fans through  an interview or something as everyone else does, but he definitely found a unique way to wish us Diwali and fulfilling our wish to see him onscreen. (though he was seen just for 25secs, but something is better than nothing, and the fact he did this is enough for us)

Kunal love you sooooo much.. And Thank You Sooooo much to make us feel special...So Proud to be your fan.

NBT KA PITARA

Memories are so hypocritic, they make you happy as well as sad at the same time.

'NBT ka pitara' shared by Kunal himself did same thing to me or I should say to all of us. 
Pics brought a smile on our faces with the feeling of emptiness in heart at the same time.

Every pic is telling its own story, taking you on a ride down the memory lane that is full of happy moments, moments when we smiled with Meghan, or cried with Meghan.. Moment of joy that we had when Megha confessed her love for Mohan.

NBT is just no other TV show, it was unique, because every relation in it was special, be it the relation of Mohan-guru, Guru-Maa, Maa-Monu, Megha-Papaji, Renu-Mohan etc. the list will go on. You just name it and you will realise how cute and unique it was.
Everything  keep coming to your mind and soon its more like a tsunami of memories is your mind and tsunami of emotions in your heart. and the harder you try to get out this you go deeper into those memories without even realising.. 
The silliest thing that I was doing while going through the pics was trying to figure out the time at which pic might have been clicked by looking at the dresses of the pic..


 Like that yellow saree of Megha reminds me of the the sequence where Mohan was angry from Megha... That anger of Mohan and that helplessness and sadness of Megha with "Tere ishq mein" in back ground. Its like you start seeing the scene in your mind

Hum saath saath hain

Or the pics of Nepal takes you to that trip[ of Nepal...which reminds you of that salsa dance or that comedy scene of Ridhhima with that butter knife.. ;)
 There are many like that  and you just keep on fighting with those memories... 

This introduced us to Nilu ji and Dushyant not only Guru and Maa.. 

But at the end you love undergoing this torture coz its taking you to those good old days.

These pics not only make you realise how much you miss and love NBT and its characters but also tells you the reason why the onscreen bonding of everyone was so special. It makes you acknowledge the fact that not only onscreen the NBT team rocked off-screen..

Running out of adjectives to describe these Killer Looks
When you have millions of thoughts in your head it becomes really difficult to pen down those thoughts.
Am sure ITA has left all Kunal fans a bit disappointed. But then I dont want to talk about it even. Everyone knows who deserved the award or who doesnot. So let me keep all those thoughts about bashing the people concerned aside. Coz right now, I just want to cherish just those 51secs of Kunal's appearence in the recent video of ITA.
This one has to be the best  appearence of his in any of the events till date and ofcourse the best  among all present in yesterday's events.
Black Suit and short hairs with right attitude and his sweet smile... wowww that makes a deadly combo. All Kunal fans were waiting with bated breath to have his glimpse, and that wait has proved to be fruitful, just a glimpse of our Dashing, Prince Charming Kunal Karan Kapoor and my heart skipped a beat.  The very first reaction was "oooohhh he is getting hotter day by day" ;) a perfect blend of handsome and cute.
God only knows how many gals had a heart attack on seeing him.
"Jhatpat taiyaar ho kar aaya hun" was his statement and I  could not stop wondering if these killer looks are result of 'Jhatpat taiyaari' than what would happen when he takes time to get ready ;)  and well black surely did its magic. Kunal in black is a sure shot treat for my eyes.
But for now we have to be pleased with just this trailer coz our traveller is off to traveling again. Thankx to him that he actually took out time to make this appearence.
But got to say that if he makes these mini appearences with these Killer looks that too after this long gaps, the wait for his onscreen return is going to be very very tough.

WHY???

Why I vote multiple times, day and night in some silly poll, which doesnt even matter, just because cannt see Kunal loosing?
Why I stay up late in night discussing  and ransacking my brain over what we can do to increase his popularity?
Why my face light up with biggest smile ever when i read some article praising him?
Why I make siggies of his?
Why he is the first one to popup in my mind when I hear any song? ( even if not picturised on him, my mind starts imagining what will be his expressions at this line)
Why I watch/read his interviews repeatedly?
Why I watch whole show series I havent watched (LRL) just to watch him?
Why am happy when I see his official page hitting a new milestone?
Why I do a silly thing like tying a knot in hanky wishing for his win in ITA ?
Why a simple "thankyou" message from him makes my day?
And the biggy- Why am I writing this blog, when there r really bleak chances that he will ever read it?
There are so many  'why'  but no answer to a single one. But at times you just do things not knowing the reason why you are doing it.. and thats what craziness is, I guess..
Whatever it is, call it craziness or stupidity or whatever you like I am least bothered as long as I can feel connected to Kunal through my these stupidities :-D

At times I feel am mad but then I find people going as crazy as me.. I feel relieved that am not the only one... ;-) He surely deserves all this crazy fan following...

Love or Obsession

Sometimes I think we fans are so selfish, we just want our Star to do what we want, we want him/her to take the role we would like to see them in, if we have loved them paired with someone we want only them to be paired  opposite each other always, we don't want them to be paired with anyone else and at times we become so obsessed that we want them to be  real life couples too.
I know many of my friends here wont agree with me at all. But does being a fan mean being obsessed or bossy? Does being a star, and having a  fan following mean not having their say in what they want, how they want to shape their career, with whom they want to act. I know here I am going to get an argument that fans are the ones who make an actor a Star, so they got to fullfill our wishes or do what we want or love them to do, but what we are forgetting here is that an actor, a star is a human being too he has his own set of rules, his own expectations and his own way to live.
Its said na "Loving someone doesnot mean controlling his/her life... Its just loving the one the way he/she is and believing in him/her that whatever that person is doing, is the right thing to do.
If u want him just to be the way you want its not love, its obsession."

Same thing applies here, if we love our Stars we got to let go his/her show and believe in him/her that he/she is going to come up with Something that is better for them, new for us.. Like here we NBT fans cann't be selfish and keep on asking Kunal and Aakanksha just to be paired opposite each other only. We got to let go of NBT and hope to see them soon onscreen whether they are paired opposite each other or anyone else.
I know after this write up I might be categorised into BTPs ( Bad Taste People), but  we need to realise that for something better to come we have to let old things go.
The thing that triggered this thought in my mind was everyone's reaction (including mine) on the latest article by telly times on Kunal "Travel Means Lot Learning Experience". 
We want him back onscreen soon so we are bugging him every now and then with our messages and tweets to return soon. But in all this we forgot that travelling is his passion, he just loves travelling . So how can we fans, how can 'I' be so selfish that just because I want that wonderfull half an hour of my day back, I want him to end his tour soon, stop doing what he loves and get back to work. (I mean I absolutely hate it when someone stops me from doing what i love or enjoy doing). Everyone of us deserves a "me" time and so does him.
And  as far as  return of Kunal onscreen is concerned, after reading the latest telly times article I have no hope of seeing him anytime soon (not for 3mnths atleast) but then just because we are missing him terribly that doesnt mean that he should not do what he actually loves or not follow his passion.
So now am not gonna whine about why isn't he returning back or why is he taking so long break. M just gonna wait for him to return onscreen with some good project that can do justice to his talent. Letting him enjoy his well deserved vacation  and some 'me' time. [and  just bothering him 'a little' by messaging him to read these immature writings of mine ;-) ]

P.S- please don't kll me after reading this... its just an honest thought of mine. I know many of you just would not agree with this. but again i guess atleast I can express myself in my blog atleast

Perfectly Imperfect

Open shirt over a t-shirt, open shoe laces, messed up hair, chewing gum,blue helmet,  "areyyy yaar" , "ayeee sunnaa" ,"mmmast hai"...  Yeah right am trying to picturise Mohan Bhatnagar. Mere mention of these few characteristics and Mohan is the first person to pop up in our mind.
The other day a friend of mine  was roaming around with open shoe laces and my instant reaction was " abey, kya Mohan types  shoe laces khule hain tere"
'Arey yaar' and 'sunna' were a part of normal lingo before even but saying it in Mohan's signature way has become a style.
"Chawwani" just meant 25paise before but now it means 'Nanhi'.
At times my friends do ask me whats special about this character that you have gone so crazy for it? And I guess thats a fair question to ask when you see someone going crazy for a fictional character.
Ques may appear simple one but believe me its tougher to answer than  you can even imagine. Its really difficult to pinpoint just one reason why one should love him. Because there is just not a single reason why you 'shouldn't' love  Mohan.
But let me try to sum up the reasons why I am so in love with him.
To start with it, the first one would be " Its a realistic character". Yeah you heard it right. I know expecting a fictional character(that too of Indian television) to be realistic is an unrealistic thing in itself, BUT its true. One can say that its an (wonderfull) exception because its a 'guy a next door' character
I guess its realistic because its not perfect at all. He is flawed in his own ways. If I say in one line "He is perfectly imperfect" . Its the character that one can  easily relate to.
And Kudos to Sonal  Ganatra Ma'am for writing this awesome character.
And now THE MAIN REASON WHY MOHAN IS SO LOVED IS THAT,  ITS PORTRAYED SO FANTABULOUSLY FANTASTIC  BY KUNAL KARAN KAPOOR..  The small nuances he added to the character made it more real. The way he emoted Mohan flawlessly was just mindblowing. Every scene was enacted so well. His acting made the character lively.
For instance the scene after Mohan  saves Megha from Prateek sir (Jannat resort) , the frustration,confusion,sadness of Mohan was emoted so well. The helplessness of Mohan of not being able to comfort Megha was emoted so well just by expressions.. No dialogues needed, no *voice in the head* needed to show that. Awww... Or be it a scene with Nanhi on terrace where she is enacting Mohan. His expressions are so realistic..That amazement (of seeing nanhi act so well)  was expressed just by his eyes and smile..

These are just two instances,But I can list 'n' number of scenes like these, where everything was expressed just by his eyes.. No dialogues needed.. I am sure here writer would agree with me that Kunal saves the work of dialogue writer by emoting everything  so beautifully just by his expressions. And when dialogues added to those expressions it becomes pure magic. Once in one of his interview Kunal mentioned that the best compliment he has got is by his writer that "He does complete justice to the dialogues written by him". And indeed its  200% true
.
SO THE FINAL CONCLUSION- REASON BEHIND GALS GOING CRAZY FOR MOHAN IS
1. Absolutely mindblowing description of character by Sonal ma'am
2. Phenomenal acting by  supremely talented Kunal Karan Kapoor.. 


Kudos to you both for giving us  "unforgettable Mohan Bhatnagar" who redefined being perfect..

The Heartthrob of Millions- Kunal Karan Kapoor

"Spiderman tum fir meri help krne aa gaye " The very first scene I watched of NBT that I incidentally stumbled up on to while flipping over the Tv channels and I was instantly hooked to both the characters..
The epic characters of Indian tellyworld that redefines the bond of friendship and are gonna stay in everyone's heart till eternity i.e Spiderman and Chawanni.. And thus began my journey from a sane person to a head over heel crazy for 'The' Mohan Bhatnagar .. But wasnt aware back then that this liking for a character is going to turn in to 'junoon' some day. Just because of the mindblowing portrayal of character by Kunal Karan Kapoor.
'Junoon' for Kunal Karan Kapoor 'The King of Expressions'.
His flawless performance and fantabulous expressions have left everyone awestruck everytime he was onscreen. His eyes spoke volumes be it a romantic scene or a comedy or an emotional scene. One will find something new in his acting everytime in every next episode and thus one fall short of words while describing his excellence.
His chiseled looks, smiling eyes, husky voice and that killer smile, how hard anyone tries not to fall for him,  but no one could never escape from his Charm, his Charisma. And if anyone has escaped by any chance (though its really impossible) will fall for him instantaneously on watching his interviews ( m talking about interviews of Kunal and not Mohan).. His innocence like that of a kid at one moment and seriousness like that of a scholar in the other will leave you speechless... His twinkling eyes while a hearty laugh will steal your heart once again and leave you smiling too.
What makes him stand out of the crowd of those tons of stone faced 'so called TV stars' is his humble and staright forward nature.. I mean how often do you find a star actually happy about his birthday gifts from fans and showing his gifts on camera during an inteview (atleast I found that really sweet)..Or how often do you find an actor replying "I dont think so. Its just our job and i prefer to stay grounded" on being complimented for his acting skills and being called The King of expressions.
All these qualities of his makes him a "True Star"
Besides acting the way he follows his passion for travelling and photography is commendable.
There are really few people who are magical both on camera and behind the camera...
He is The Best actor ever. and The Best human being....
