AND HE IS BACK!!

I logged in to my facebook account after a week and my timeline and notifications is filled with just one thing...HE IS BACK!!!! seriously I still cann't believe :P So many things to say, pardon me if I go all crazy midway and just go on rambling making no sense at all coz dude, only Kunal fans know since how long we were waiting for this, holding our breaths,keeping patience...

So, the loooonnnngggg wait of  33Months and 15 days has finally come to an end. Kunal Karan Kapoor returns as Shaurya to dazzle our TV screens once again. Am not much aware about the show or the character as of now, but believing Kunal's instinct to choose this role to make comeback once again after such a long hiatus, am sure the character will be more than what it just looks.. Yes it reminds a lot of Mohan Bhatnagar, but am sure Kunal will make it different..
Just caught a glimpse of his entry in a video shared by NBT scenes and Videos page, aahhh that smile is back on my screen in a new avtar, in new look, but with same intensity to make everyone go crazy... though I think his entry could be lil more grander with a lil powerful background score, but that smile at the end and that sexy look and attitude, makes up for everything.

A new journey has begun, not just for our hero, but also for the show. Leap, is never easy for the viewers to accept, especially if the original leads are complete;y replaced,  the new actors have to face the wrath of fans of previous leads. But here am not afraid of anything like that, am just waiting for Kunal to win over those people with his brilliant acting skills, get them under his spell by his expressive eyes and charming smile.
Just hoping, the writers and directors realises the potential of Kunal as an actor, and explores his talent, and gives him creative freedom to give his best..
So wishing Kunal All the Best for this vebture and eagerly waiting for him to blow our minds and steal our hearts once again with his power packed performance as Shaurya...

From an Actor par Excellence to an Excellent Photographer...

Supposedly it started with this.. (One of the first few pics posted by Kunal on twitter)

These days with big camera in mobiles almost everyone is in love with photography, every other person likes clicking pics (including me) but there are just few who actually know what photography is or want to know what it is actually. And those who want to know are the ones who evolve from immature photographers to amateur photographers.

And that development we have seen with time  in pics from our rockstar, Kunal Kapoor. Who is not only mind blowing in front of camera but lately he have been blowing our minds by being behind the camera too. We Kunal fans have been visiting places along with him, and seeing places and things through his artistic eyes, through his camera’s lens. From the streets of Maheshwar, M.P to Prague's Castle, from sunset at Mahabaleshwar to starlit sky of LonelyBeach, Kohchang we have seen it all, courtsey Kunal ;)
And among all these pics one thing that is evident is,he has come a long way from that view of Mumbai from his balcony to his recent Maheshwar trip and few black and white pics posted.. I have always been a fan of  pics clicked by him but recent pics have made me even  bigger fan... Simple things, simple views beautified by just his way of capturing it.

And with his pitara opening  from his past trips (according to his today's update on official page), it looks like we fans are in for a huge treat, so brace yourself, one has to be very self controlled to escape the urge of packing bags and leaving all behind and visit the place Kunal just posted the pic of. ;)

502 DAYS (and counting)

1 year 4 months and 15 days  (and still counting)  
Yups, I can not believe it either,  but its been this long since our television sets saw the sunshine, the sunshine that appeared in the form of Kunal Karan Kapoor, whose smile traveled through TV screens in to our hearts and made our days brighter (even in the dullest mood of all times).
Meanwhile, some of us while waiting have deviced our own ways to over come that gloominess that had set in our hearts post 12th September 2013. Some of us have successfully overcome that to a great  extent by getting hooked to other TV shows and enjoying other TV actors. But there are few of us, who could not enjoy TV anymore. Every actor seems to be lacking something or the other, no actor can match Kunal's level of perfection. I should say Kunal has raised that bar of perfection  to such level that now its hard for any other actor to reach even near that.

After my last breakdown post NBT watching, I had sworn not to watch NBT again and I maintained that promise of mine, until now, but retelecast of NBT on Rishtey brought back many NBT related posts on my timeline and even after resisting a lot I found myself sitting in front of computer and watching NBT from episode one and after few episodes am here again after a hiatus of 4 months. No matter how many times you have watched that show, its still refreshing. It still makes you smile, still makes you go "awww" over Spiderman-Chawanni scenes, still makes you laugh hard on Guru's "Sadda Haq" 'jhaddu' dance and most importantly it makes you fall in love with Mohan Bhatnagar all over again.

Kunal has some magnetic quality in his acting, in his smile and in his eyes, that once you start watching him it becomes impossible to control yourself after just one episode. Just when you think you are over him, you are no more suffering from Kunal Mania, and BOOM, there he comes in front of you in some hot pic, or some clipping and you are back to square  one. You become that same head over heel crazy pankhi once again.  Therefore after trying to get over Kunal Mania a million times in last days 502 days I have given up hope of being cured of Kunal Mania.. 

I do not know how long this wait is going to be, coz as we know still some quality work is missing from Kunal's life, as he said.  But one thing that is certain is, however long this wait is, its going to be painful, its going to be tough, but also at the end its fruit is going to be a sweeter one. Watching Kunal once again on our TV in a role that HE thinks is worth doing, will be such a delicious treat for our eyes and this painful wait will be totally worth it.

He is cute. He is tall.  He has gorgeous  eyes  and a stunning  smile. . I didn't  say a name .. but he popped  into  your  head...didn't he????

Some people  dream  about  success while  others  wake up
AND WORK HARD AT IT.
It's indeed  a joyful occasion  for all Kunal fans.   It's  his  tenth  year in the  TV industry.  So can we hear it for our rockstar.  CONGRATULATIONS  KUNAL!!!!!!!!
 He is the  best  example  to show  wanting  something  is not  enough . You must hunger for  it. Your motivation  must  be  absolutely  compelling in order  to overcome  the  obstacles  that  will  invariably  come  your  way.
The  sweat, the  time,  the  devotion  has paid  off . Today  he stands  tall amongst  his contemporaries.  Viewers  fall short of words  to praise  and describe  this dynamic actor.

We can really tell Kunal is  a great actor because  IN front of the camera he talks, emotes and reacts. We as audience don't have to keep cutting away from him, because He is the language and the behaviour. Its all about tour-de-performance.

To portray an iconic character like 'Mohan Bhatangar' in a show like ' NA BOLE TUM NA MAINE KUCH KAHA' enhances that because the show put  a spin on characters and made them very different. And put core values which were  very different which were  not in the original fairy tales a lot of people related to.

I once heard that the best stories are either about extraordinary  characters in ordinary situations or ordinary characters in extraordinary situations.. We would agree to the fact that the iconic 'Mohan Bhatnagar' broke the mould. he was extraordinary and so were his situations.


What made the character of Mohan Bhatnagar so memorable? Mohan Bhatnagar deviated from social norms and expectations. He had a distinct clothing and accessories and memorable catch phrases. MB had the boy next door good looks, attitude and backstory which till date makes  him an endearing character.

I dearly love the character of Mohan Bhatnagar. Kunal Karan Kapoor played it to the 'T'.A second iconic role will break the image of  MB. I am sure Kunal realises that.. and hence taking his time to give a nod to a new project..

I believe this quote sums up what many Mohan Bhatnagar/ Kunal Karan Kapoor fans feel

" Some times you don't realise the weight of something you have been carrying until you feel the weight of  its release''

For kunal and his legions of fans - The pain that you have been feeling, cannot compare to the joy that's coming.
